Turn off and unplug the machine
Remove the portafilter, basket, and drip tray
Empty and rinse the drip tray and water reservoir
Wash removable parts with warm water and mild detergent
Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth
Clean the group head with a brush
Run water through the group head to flush residue
Backflush the machine if it has a backflush function
Clean the steam wand immediately after use
Purge the steam wand and wipe it with a clean cloth
Soak the steam wand tip if milk residue remains
Descale the machine according to the manufacturer’s instructions
Rinse the machine thoroughly after descaling
Reassemble all parts
Dry all components before use
Clean the machine regularly after each use and on a set schedule
