Unplug the sterilizer and let it cool completely
Remove the lid, tray, and any removable parts
Empty any remaining water from the base
Wash removable parts with warm water and mild dish soap
Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water
Wipe the interior and exterior with a soft, damp cloth
Clean the heating plate or base area with a non-abrasive cloth
Remove mineral buildup with a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water
Wipe the affected areas with the vinegar solution
Rinse with a clean damp cloth to remove any residue
Dry all parts completely before reassembling
Reassemble the sterilizer only when all parts are fully dry
Clean the sterilizer regularly to prevent buildup
