Turn off the camera
Remove the lens
Fully charge the battery
Set the camera to sensor cleaning mode if available
Use a blower to remove loose dust
Hold the camera with the mount facing downward
Avoid touching the sensor with fingers or tools
Use a sensor swab and sensor cleaning solution for stubborn dust
Swipe gently in one direction with the swab
Use a new swab for each pass
Check the sensor with a test photo or sensor inspection mode
Repeat only if necessary
Reattach the lens
Store the camera in a clean, dry place
