Turn off and unplug the clippers
Remove the blade guard and any detachable parts
Brush out hair from the blades and housing
Tap out loose debris
Wipe the blades and body with a dry cloth
Use a clipper cleaning spray on the blades
Let the spray dry completely
Apply a few drops of clipper oil to the blades
Run the clippers briefly to spread the oil
Wipe away excess oil
Clean removable parts separately if needed
Reassemble the clippers
Store them in a dry place
