Turn off the grill and let it cool slightly
Disconnect the gas supply if applicable
Remove the grates, burners, and drip tray if removable
Scrape off loose debris with a grill brush or scraper
Soak grates in warm soapy water
Scrub grates with a sponge or brush
Clean burners gently with a soft brush
Empty and wash the drip tray
Wipe the interior and exterior with a damp cloth
Use mild dish soap for stubborn grease
Rinse all parts thoroughly
Dry all parts completely
Reassemble the grill
Light the grill briefly to burn off any remaining moisture
