Wash and dry your hands before handling hearing aids
Turn off the hearing aids and remove them from your ears
Wipe the outside with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth
Use a small cleaning brush to remove wax and debris from openings
Clean the microphone ports gently with a brush
Clear the receiver and vent openings carefully
Remove and clean earmolds if your model has them
Wash earmolds with mild soap and warm water if allowed by the manufacturer
Dry earmolds completely before reattaching
Replace wax guards or filters as needed
Check and clean the battery compartment
Remove batteries before cleaning if recommended
Keep hearing aids away from water, alcohol, and cleaning sprays
Use a drying kit or dehumidifier overnight
Store hearing aids in a clean, dry case when not in use
Follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions for your model
Have a hearing care professional clean or inspect them regularly
