Remove all bedding and wash it separately
Blot the wet area with clean towels or paper towels
Mix equal parts cold water and white vinegar in a spray bottle
Lightly spray the stained area
Blot again with a clean towel
Sprinkle baking soda over the area
Let it sit for several hours or overnight
Vacuum up the baking soda
If odor remains, repeat the vinegar and baking soda steps
Let the mattress air dry completely
Use a fan or open windows to speed drying
Place a waterproof mattress protector on the mattress after it is dry
