Turn off the dishwasher and remove the bottom rack
Locate the filter at the bottom of the tub
Twist the filter counterclockwise to unlock it
Lift the filter out carefully
Remove any large debris by hand
Rinse the filter under warm running water
Use a soft brush to scrub away buildup
Clean the filter housing and surrounding area
Reinstall the filter by placing it back in position
Twist the filter clockwise to lock it
Replace the bottom rack
Run a short cycle if needed to check for proper operation
