Wash your hands first

Apply a small drop of lotion-free dish soap to each lens
Gently rub the lenses, frames, nose pads, and temples with your fingers
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water
Shake off excess water
Dry with a clean, soft microfiber cloth
Use a microfiber cloth to remove any remaining smudges
Avoid paper towels, tissues, and clothing
Avoid hot water, which can damage lens coatings
Use a lens cleaner if soap and water are not available
Store glasses in a hard case when not in use
