Shut down the notebook computer and unplug it
Disconnect all external cables and devices
Use a dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe away dust
Dampen a microfiber cloth with distilled water or a screen-safe cleaner
Wipe the screen gently in one direction
Do not spray liquid directly onto the screen
Avoid paper towels, tissues, and rough cloths
Avoid ammonia, alcohol, acetone, or household glass cleaners
Clean the edges and corners carefully with the cloth
Let the screen dry completely before turning the computer back on
