Unplug the fountain and remove the water tank, filter, pump, and all detachable parts
Empty any remaining water
Rinse the tank, tray, lid, and other removable parts with warm water
Wash removable parts with mild dish soap and a soft sponge
Clean the pump by opening it and removing any debris or buildup
Use a cotton swab or soft brush to clean the pump impeller and small crevices
Rinse all parts thoroughly to remove soap residue
Wipe the base and power area with a damp cloth only
Do not submerge the base or electrical parts in water
Clean the filter housing and replace the filter if it is dirty or worn
Dry all parts completely before reassembling
Refill with fresh water and reassemble the fountain
Clean the fountain regularly to prevent slime, odor, and mineral buildup
