Hold records by the edges and label area only
Use a carbon fiber brush before and after playing
Remove loose dust with a microfiber cloth
Use a record cleaning solution made for vinyl
Apply the solution with a clean microfiber cloth or record cleaning pad
Wipe in a circular motion following the grooves
Avoid paper towels and abrasive materials
Do not use household cleaners, alcohol, or solvents unless approved for vinyl
For heavy dirt, use a record cleaning machine or vacuum cleaner made for records
Rinse with distilled water if using a wet-cleaning method
Dry completely with a lint-free cloth or air dry on a clean rack
Clean the inner sleeve or replace it if dirty
Store records vertically in anti-static sleeves
Keep records away from heat, sunlight, and dust
Clean the turntable stylus regularly to prevent recontamination
