How To Clean Stained Marble?

Dust or dry-mop the marble surface first

Mix a few drops of pH-neutral dish soap with warm water

Dampen a soft microfiber cloth with the solution

Wipe the stained area gently

Rinse with clean water using a separate damp cloth

Dry the surface immediately with a soft towel

For organic stains, apply a baking soda and water poultice

Cover the poultice with plastic wrap and leave it until dry

Remove the poultice and wipe clean

For oil-based stains, apply a baking soda or cornstarch poultice

For rust stains, use a marble-safe rust remover

For ink stains, use hydrogen peroxide on light marble or acetone on dark marble

Test any cleaner on a small hidden area first

Avoid vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, and abrasive cleaners

Use a soft cloth or sponge only

Seal the marble after cleaning if needed
