Wash the car with car shampoo and clean water
Dry the surface completely with a microfiber towel

Gently rub the affected area in straight lines
Rinse the area with clean water
Dry the area immediately with a clean microfiber towel
Apply a clay bar if spots remain
Use a polish to remove any etched marks
Apply wax or paint sealant after cleaning
Repeat if necessary
