Unplug the Waterpik and empty the reservoir
Remove the reservoir and wash it with warm water and mild dish soap
Rinse the reservoir thoroughly and let it air-dry
Remove the tip from the handle
Rinse the tip under warm water
Soak the tip in a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water for 5 to 10 minutes
Rinse the tip again and let it dry
Wipe the handle and base with a soft damp cloth
Use a cotton swab to clean around buttons, seams, and crevices
Fill the reservoir with a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and warm water
Run the Waterpik until the reservoir is empty
Repeat with clean warm water to flush out any vinegar
Clean the reservoir, lid, and tip holder weekly
Deep clean the unit monthly
Reassemble only after all parts are completely dry
