Close The Sims 4 and the EA app/Origin
Open File Explorer
Go to Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4
Delete localthumbcache.package
Delete the cache folder if it exists
Delete the cachestr folder if it exists
Delete the onlinethumbnailcache folder if it exists
Go to Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > onlinethumbnailcache
Delete all files inside that folder if it exists
Go to Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > avatarcache
Delete all files inside that folder if it exists
Go to Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > LastException files if present
Go to Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > LastUIException files if present
Empty the Recycle Bin
Restart your computer
Launch The Sims 4 again
