Open the Facebook app

Go to Settings and privacy
Tap Settings
Open Browser or Media settings, depending on your device
Tap Clear browsing data or Clear cache
Confirm the action
On Android, open Settings on your phone
Tap Apps
Select Facebook
Tap Storage
Tap Clear cache
On iPhone, delete and reinstall the Facebook app to clear the app cache
Log back into Facebook after reinstalling
