Remove any items from the chair
Lift the chair slightly to take pressure off the frame
Release the recline lock if engaged
Fold the backrest forward toward the seat
Bring the seat and frame sections together
Collapse the armrests inward if applicable
Press the side rails inward to flatten the chair
Secure the closure strap or latch
Carry the chair by the handle or strap
