Insert the batteries into the Roku remote (match the + and – marks).
Power on your Roku device or TV.
Point the remote at the Roku device and press the Home button.
Wait for pairing to complete (pairing may take a few seconds).
If the remote does not pair automatically, remove batteries, wait 10 seconds, reinsert batteries, then press Home.
If pairing still fails, press and hold the pairing button on the remote for 3–5 seconds (or follow the on-screen pairing prompt).
If your remote uses a USB pairing method, connect the Roku remote to the Roku device using the provided USB cable, then follow the on-screen instructions.
On the Roku, go to Settings > Remotes & devices > Pair a new device.
Select the remote type when prompted, then follow the pairing steps on-screen.
If using a Roku voice remote, press and hold the microphone/voice button to test after pairing.
If the Roku remote is a Wi-Fi model, ensure the Roku is connected to the internet and the remote is compatible with that model.
Replace batteries if pairing is inconsistent or the remote won’t respond.
