Plug the Netgear WiFi extender into a power outlet near your router
Wait for the power LED to turn solid green or white
Connect your phone, tablet, or computer to the extender’s default WiFi network
Open a web browser and go to mywifiext.net
Follow the on-screen setup instructions
Select your home WiFi network
Enter your WiFi password
Choose a name for the extended network if prompted
Save the settings
Move the extender to a location between your router and the weak-signal area
Plug it in and wait for the LED to indicate a good connection
Connect your devices to the extender network
If setup fails, press the WPS button on the router
Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on the extender
Wait for the connection LED to confirm pairing
If needed, reset the extender and repeat the setup process
