Check TV inputs: HDMI (recommended), USB, or built-in wireless casting (Chromecast/AirPlay/Miracast).
Use HDMI with a wired adapter:
Android: HDMI adapter (USB-C to HDMI or MHL to HDMI if supported) → connect to TV HDMI port.
iPhone/iPad: Lightning to HDMI adapter (or USB-C to HDMI if device supports) → connect to TV HDMI port.
Select the matching HDMI input on the TV.
Use USB (if TV supports it):
Connect phone to TV with a USB cable.
Enable USB mode on the phone (e.g., File Transfer/Media) if prompted.
On the TV, choose the USB/Media input.
Use screen mirroring (wireless):
Android (Chromecast built-in/Google Cast): Open Google Home/Google Cast or the Cast option in supported apps → select TV.
Android (Miracast/Wi‑Fi Display): Settings → Connected devices/Display → Cast/Miracast → select TV.
iPhone/iPad (AirPlay): Control Center → Screen Mirroring → select TV/Apple TV → enter code if shown.
Use the TV’s “Screen Mirroring/Wi‑Fi Display/AirPlay” option if required.
Use a streaming device (if TV doesn’t support casting):
Chromecast, Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV: Install/enable the app or casting method on the phone → select the device.
Use a compatible app (for supported services):
Open the TV/app’s supported streaming app on the phone → use in-app casting/playback to the TV.
Confirm basics:
Phone and TV/streaming device are on the same Wi‑Fi network (for wireless).
TV volume and input source are set correctly.
Update phone and TV firmware/software if casting fails.
