Locate the RCA remote’s pairing or setup button, if available
Turn on the TV
Insert batteries into the RCA remote
Point the remote at the TV
Press and hold the TV or Setup button on the remote
Enter the TV brand code using the remote, if required
Release the button when the indicator light blinks or turns off
Test the power, volume, and input buttons
Repeat the code entry with a different code if the remote does not work
Use the remote’s code search function if no code works
Replace the batteries if the remote still does not respond
