Turn on the TV and the Comcast/Xfinity box
Insert fresh batteries into the remote
Point the remote at the TV or cable box
Press and hold the Setup button until the light turns green or blinks twice
Press the TV Power button
Enter the TV brand code if prompted
Press the Power button to test the connection
Press the Volume buttons to test TV control
If using an Xfinity Voice Remote, press and hold the Microphone button and say “program remote”
Follow the on-screen instructions to pair the remote
If the remote does not connect, restart the TV and cable box
Recheck the batteries and try again
