Plug in the Sonos speaker and wait for the status light to flash
Open the Sonos app on your phone or tablet
Sign in to your Sonos account or create one
Make sure your phone or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want the speaker to use
In the app, tap Settings
Tap System
Tap Add Product or Add Speaker
Follow the on-screen setup steps
Press the Join button on the Sonos speaker when prompted
Confirm the speaker is found and added
Repeat the add process for each additional Sonos speaker
Use the app to group speakers or create a stereo pair if needed
Update the speaker software if prompted
Test playback from the app or a supported music service
