Turn on the hotspot on your phone or mobile device
On your laptop, open Wi-Fi settings
Turn on Wi-Fi on the laptop
Select your hotspot name from the available networks
Enter the hotspot password
Click Connect
Wait until the laptop shows it is connected
Open a browser or app to confirm internet access
