Use the intercom or emergency communication button in the coach, if available
Ask the coach attendant or onboard staff to contact the TTE
Go to the nearest coach where the TTE is likely to be present, usually near the guard or pantry area
If the train has a railway helpline displayed, call the number and request the TTE
Use the Rail Madad app or railway complaint helpline to raise a request during the journey
Show your ticket or booking details to any railway staff and ask them to connect you with the TTE
If you cannot find the TTE, ask the ticket examiner, train manager, or any uniformed railway staff on board
