Take levothyroxine on an empty stomach, away from food and supplements
Avoid taking iron, calcium, and antacids close to thyroid medicine
Recheck thyroid levels regularly as advised by your doctor
Maintain a balanced diet with enough iodine, selenium, and protein
Avoid excess iodine supplements unless prescribed
Manage stress with sleep, exercise, and relaxation
Keep a healthy body weight
Treat anemia, vitamin D deficiency, and other related deficiencies if present
Monitor menstrual irregularities, fertility issues, and pregnancy closely
During pregnancy, get thyroid levels checked more often
If you have hyperthyroidism, take antithyroid medicine only under medical supervision
Avoid smoking
Follow up with an endocrinologist if symptoms persist or levels stay abnormal
