Preheat the oven to 350°F
Remove the turkey from the refrigerator
Remove the giblets and neck from the turkey cavity
Pat the turkey dry with paper towels
Season the turkey with salt, pepper, and any desired herbs or spices
Place flour in an oven-safe turkey bag and shake to coat the inside
Put the turkey bag in a roasting pan
Place the turkey in the bag
Add chopped vegetables or aromatics if desired
Close the bag with the provided tie or a heat-safe closure
Cut several small slits in the top of the bag
Place the roasting pan in the oven
Roast the turkey until the internal temperature reaches 165°F in the thickest part of the breast and 175°F in the thigh
Remove the turkey from the oven
Let the turkey rest in the bag for 15 to 20 minutes
Carefully cut open the bag and transfer the turkey to a serving platter
Carve and serve
