Preheat the oven to 400°F
Remove the husks and silk from the corn
Rinse the corn and pat it dry
Place the corn on a baking sheet
Brush with melted butter or oil, if desired
Season with salt and pepper, if desired
Cover the baking sheet tightly with aluminum foil
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes
Remove the foil carefully
Bake for 5 more minutes if you want light browning
Remove from the oven
Serve hot with butter, salt, or other toppings
