Boil water in a pot
Add frozen broccoli directly to the boiling water
Cook for 3 to 5 minutes until tender
Drain well
Season with salt, pepper, butter, or garlic if desired
Steam frozen broccoli in a steamer basket over boiling water
Cover and cook for 4 to 6 minutes until tender
Remove and season as desired
Microwave frozen broccoli in a microwave-safe bowl
Add a small amount of water
Cover loosely
Cook on high for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring halfway through
Drain and season as desired
Sauté frozen broccoli in a skillet with oil or butter
Cook over medium heat for 5 to 8 minutes
Stir occasionally until heated through and tender
Season as desired
Roast frozen broccoli on a baking sheet
Toss with oil and seasonings
Bake at 425°F for 20 to 25 minutes
Flip halfway through cooking
Serve when edges are browned and crisp
