Peel them if desired
Cut into even-sized pieces if cooking whole potatoes is not needed
Boil in salted water until fork-tender
Drain well after boiling
Steam until tender
Roast with oil, salt, and seasonings at 400°F to 425°F
Bake whole until soft
Mash after boiling or steaming
Sauté sliced or diced potatoes in oil or butter
Air fry until crisp and tender
Grill thick slices until cooked through
Season with herbs, garlic, pepper, or paprika
Serve hot as a side dish or in salads
