How To Cook Salmon In A Frying Pan?

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels

Season both sides with salt and pepper

Heat a frying pan over medium heat

Add a small amount of oil or butter to the pan

Place the salmon skin-side down if it has skin

Press gently for a few seconds to keep it flat

Cook without moving it for 4 to 6 minutes

Flip the salmon carefully

Cook the other side for 2 to 4 minutes

Check that the salmon flakes easily with a fork

Remove the salmon from the pan

Let it rest for 1 to 2 minutes before serving
