Preheat the oven to 325°F
Pat the turkey breast dry
Rub with oil or melted butter
Season with salt, pepper, and desired herbs
Place the turkey breast bone-side down in a roasting pan
Add a small amount of broth or water to the pan
Roast until the thickest part reaches 165°F
Baste occasionally if desired
Tent with foil if the skin browns too quickly
Remove from the oven and rest for 15 to 20 minutes
Carve and serve
