On a computer, highlight the text you want to copy
Press Ctrl + C on Windows or Command + C on Mac
Open Facebook and click where you want to paste
Press Ctrl + V on Windows or Command + V on Mac
On a phone, press and hold the text you want to copy
Tap Copy
Open Facebook and tap the text box
Press and hold, then tap Paste
To copy a Facebook post, click or tap the three dots on the post
Select Copy link if available
Paste the copied link where you want it
