Gather used paper, water, a blender, a basin, a screen frame, towels, and a sponge
Tear the paper into small pieces
Soak the paper pieces in water for several hours or overnight
Blend the soaked paper with water into a pulp
Pour the pulp into a basin and add more water
Submerge the screen frame into the pulp mixture
Lift the frame evenly to catch a thin layer of pulp
Let excess water drain from the frame
Place the wet sheet onto a towel or cloth
Press out more water with a sponge or another towel
Peel the screen away carefully
Let the paper dry completely
Flatten the dried paper under books or a flat surface if needed
