Open Gmail and sign in
Click the Google Apps menu and open Contacts
Select the contacts you want to add to the group
Click the Labels icon
Create a new label or choose an existing label
Name the label and save it
Open Gmail and start a new email
In the To field, type the label name
Select the group label from the suggestions
Compose and send your email
