How To Create Columns In Word?

Open your Word document

Select the text you want to format, or place the cursor where you want the columns to start

Go to the Layout or Page Layout tab

Click Columns

Choose One, Two, Three, Left, Right, or More Columns

If needed, click More Columns for custom settings

Set the number of columns you want

Adjust width and spacing if needed

Choose whether to apply the columns to the whole document or selected text

Click OK
