Import your clip into After Effects
Drag the clip into a composition
Move the playhead to the point where you want to cut
Select the layer in the timeline
Press Ctrl+Shift+D on Windows or Cmd+Shift+D on Mac
The layer will split into two separate clips at the playhead
Move or delete the unwanted section if needed
Repeat the split process for additional cuts
