Fold the triangle in half again

Trim the top edge if needed to make a neat point
Cut small shapes along the folded edges
Cut notches, triangles, or curves for the snowflake pattern
Avoid cutting all the way through the folded sides
Unfold the paper carefully
Flatten the snowflake
Repeat with more paper if desired
