How To Dehydrate Roses?

Choose fresh roses that are fully open and free of moisture

Remove any damaged petals, leaves, and excess stem length

Gently shake off dirt or insects

Hang the roses upside down in a dark, dry, well-ventilated area

Tie the stems together with string or rubber bands

Leave space between roses for air circulation

Let them dry for 1 to 3 weeks until petals feel crisp

Check periodically for mold or softness

Alternatively, place roses in a container of silica gel

Cover the petals completely with silica gel

Seal the container and leave it for several days to 1 week

Remove the roses carefully and brush off any remaining gel

Store dehydrated roses away from direct sunlight and humidity
