Open WhatsApp
Go to the Chats or Contacts tab
Find the contact you want to delete
Open the contact’s chat or profile
Tap the contact name at the top
Tap More options or the menu icon
Select View in address book or Edit contact
Choose Delete contact
Confirm the deletion
Refresh WhatsApp contacts if needed
The number will no longer appear in WhatsApp contacts
