Open your Photos app or gallery
Go to the Albums or Library section
Look for a Duplicates, Similar, or Clean Up option
Select the duplicate photos you want to remove
Confirm deletion or merge if prompted
Check the Recently Deleted or Trash folder
Empty the Recently Deleted or Trash folder to free space
If no duplicate tool is available, sort photos by date or name
Compare similar photos manually
Delete the extra copies one by one
Use a duplicate photo cleaner app if needed
Back up important photos before deleting
Sync changes across all devices if your photos are cloud-backed up
