Open the Facebook app or website
Go to Settings and privacy
Select Settings
Open Accounts Center
Select Personal details
Select Account ownership and control
Select Deactivation or deletion
Choose the Facebook account you want to delete
Select Delete account
Follow the prompts to confirm
Enter your password if asked
Confirm the deletion request
Download your information first if you want to keep a copy
Log out and avoid logging back in during the deletion period
