Select the file you want to delete
Right-click the file
Click Delete
Or press the Delete key on your keyboard
To permanently delete, empty the Recycle Bin or Trash
On Windows, open Recycle Bin and choose Empty Recycle Bin
On Mac, open Trash and choose Empty
To delete multiple files, hold Ctrl on Windows or Command on Mac and select the files
Then right-click and choose Delete or press Delete
To force delete a file that will not delete, close any program using it and try again
To delete from File Explorer or Finder, locate the file and remove it there
