Open WhatsApp
Go to the chat containing the message
Tap and hold the message you want to delete
Tap Delete
Select Delete for me or Delete for everyone
If Delete for everyone is available, tap it
Repeat for each message you want to remove
For older messages, use the chat search to find them faster
If the message is too old, Delete for everyone may no longer be available
In that case, only Delete for me can be used
To delete many messages at once, open the chat
Tap the chat name or menu
Select Clear chat or Delete chat
Confirm the action
To delete messages from a group, follow the same steps
If you are an admin, you can also manage group messages normally
Make sure WhatsApp is updated to the latest version
