Open Facebook and log in
Go to Settings and privacy
Tap Settings
Go to Accounts Center
Tap Personal details
Tap Account ownership and control
Tap Deactivation or deletion
Select your Facebook account
Choose Delete account
Tap Continue
Follow the prompts
Enter your password if asked
Confirm deletion
Download your data first if you want to keep anything
Log out after submitting the deletion request
Do not log back in during the deletion period if you want the deletion to continue
