Open the Photos app on your iPhone or iPad
Tap Photos
Select the photos you want to delete
Tap the Trash icon
Confirm Delete Photo or Delete Photos
If prompted, choose Delete from iCloud
Open the Photos app on your Mac
Select the photos you want to delete
Press Delete on your keyboard
Click Delete when prompted
If prompted, choose to delete from iCloud
Open iCloud.com in a web browser
Sign in with your Apple ID
Open Photos
Select the photos you want to delete
Click the Delete icon (trash can)
Confirm deletion
To delete from all synced devices, ensure iCloud Photos is enabled
Settings (iPhone/iPad) or System Settings (Mac) > Apple ID > iCloud > Photos
Turn on iCloud Photos
Delete the photos from one device to remove them from iCloud and all devices using iCloud Photos
Empty Recently Deleted (iPhone/iPad)
Photos app > Albums > Recently Deleted
Select photos > Delete All or Delete
Empty Recently Deleted (Mac)
Photos app > Recently Deleted
Select photos > Delete All or Delete
Empty Recently Deleted (iCloud.com)
Photos > Recently Deleted
Select items > Delete All
