How to Delete Read Only Contacts?

Open the Contacts app

Tap the contact you want to delete

Tap Edit

Tap Delete Contact

If Delete is unavailable, remove the account that syncs the contact

Go to Settings

Open Accounts or Passwords & Accounts

Select the account

Turn off Contacts sync or remove the account

Return to Contacts and delete the contact again

If the contact is from a read-only source like Google, Exchange, or a SIM, delete it from that source account

If the contact is in a managed work profile, contact your administrator

If the contact is in a third-party app, delete it from that app first
