Open the search bar or search page
Tap the recent searches or history section
Swipe left on an individual search and tap Delete
Tap Clear All or Clear History if available
Confirm the deletion if prompted
For Safari, open Settings
Tap Apps
Tap Safari
Tap Clear History and Website Data
Confirm when prompted
For Chrome, open Chrome
Tap the three dots menu
Tap History
Tap Clear Browsing Data
Select Browsing History
Tap Clear Browsing Data
Confirm when prompted
For Spotlight search, open Settings
Tap Siri & Search
Turn off suggestions if needed
Clear app-specific search history inside each app separately
