How to Delete SharePoint Site?

Go to the SharePoint site you want to delete

Select the Settings gear icon

Choose Site information

Select Delete site

Confirm the deletion

If you are a SharePoint admin, go to the SharePoint admin center

Select Active sites

Find and select the site

Choose Delete

Confirm the deletion

If the site is a Microsoft 365 group-connected site, delete the Microsoft 365 group to delete the site

If the site is a communication site or non-group-connected site, delete it from the SharePoint admin center

If the site is a subsite, go to Site contents or Site settings and delete the subsite from there
